Bachelor of Music - Peformance

Our impressive facilities, low acceptance numbers and small classes provide a stimulating creative atmosphere, where students, faculty and staff work and study: to the very highest practical and academic standards. 

Your Education

Performance is the ‘creative lifeblood’ of the Guild.

 

You will have:

  • an intensive one-on-one, weekly (one hour) principal study lesson from a leading professional 

  • the opportunity to perform in masterclasses from national and international visiting artists 

  • a weekly (one hour) ‘performance seminar’ covering all aspects of the profession

  • a weekly (one hour) performance forum to refine your performing skills, develop your stagecraft and musical voice. 

 

As well as your chosen instrument or specialisation you will study (one hour):  

  • Musicianship 

  • Music Technology

  • Composition

  • Business Management

  • Collaborative Music Studies 

  • Music History

On campus facilities

If you need some quite time to yourself, we have a student common room, two purpose built sound proof recording studios, a fully equipped audio engineering lab, private tutorial room and keyboard laboratory in addition to our main lecture theatre and performance space and practice rooms.

Dedicated National and International Distance Learning

The Guild is the only higher education provider to offer a solely online 'Bachelor of Music - Performance' course with international accreditation of global significance.    

From auditions through to examinations, you can complete your course  requirements from any state, territory or country (providing you meet our English language requirements) as a national or International student. 

Fees and Scholarships 

The Guild offers an extensive range of fees paying options and scholarships.  

 

As a not-for-profit we are committed to a policy of Education for All and as such, we keep our fees as low as possible.  The degree can be done entirely online, which helps reduce the running costs associated with a large campus. 

 

Students still have access to our state of the art recording studios, practise rooms, concert area and all onsite amenities as required.

For all other students payment plans are available.
